Hello, I'm Anupama.

I'm a psychologist, behaviour therapist and special educator. For eight years I've worked with children who are autistic, have ADHD, find schoolwork hard, or are struggling with anxiety. Every child is different, so I take the time to understand yours before making any suggestions.

Four ways we work together

Psychotherapy

Play-based and talk-based sessions for children, adolescents, neurodivergent adults, parents and families — matched to age and to how each person communicates. Goals are set with you and reviewed openly.

Psychological assessments

Intelligence, ADHD, autism spectrum, specific learning difficulties, and behavioural and emotional assessments — each ending in a plain-language report you can actually use at home, at school and with other professionals.

Training programmes

Sessions for the adults around the child: classroom strategies for educators and schools, and practical guidance for parents on routines, boundaries, screens and sleep.

Social skills training

Age-matched small groups for children learning to read a room, take turns, handle disagreement and make friends — practised, not just talked about.

The journey, step by step

Most families move through these five stages over a few weeks. You'll always know which one you're in.

  1. Meet

A first conversation, no tests. You talk, we listen.

  2. Understand

History, school and home — the whole picture, not one moment of it.

  3. Assess

Only what's needed. No test is run to fill a form.

  4. Support

A plan that works at home and at school, written in plain language.

  5. Grow

We review, adjust, and step back as your child needs us less.

What people have said

Two months ago, I met Anupama with my 5 year old daughter, who was shy and not talking to others or mingling with anybody. Anupama is such a friendly doctor and treated my daughter so well. Her sessions are very effective, and my daughter was looking forward to them. Her guidance taught me to understand my child better. Now, my daughter has slowly started talking to other kids and is doing well.

Anupama ma'am is an exceptional therapist who supported me through one of the lowest phases of my life. From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, understood, and reassured that I was not alone. She was someone I could truly rely on, always present with patience and empathy. With her guidance, I have been able to overcome my past struggles and grow with greater clarity and strength.

She spoke to me like a friend and explained me everything. Her tips helped me a lot. The exercises she asked me to do were very helpful and also made my mind calm and stable.
